Server down issues
So just a little more detail on what happened. Apparently mod_jk defaults to having a log level of debug, so it dumped several lines in the log file for every page view. The recent Metafilter post shot my traffic up from 5 unique viewers a day to over 25000. The mod_jk log was over 25 gigs when I deleted it.
I feel so cheated, I was hoping a Slashdot post would destroy my server. Guess I''l have to settle for the Metafilter effect. :)

Well for some reason the huge rush of traffic because of the Metafilter link to nethax corrupted my blog entries. I won't have time to get things back up and running until after finals, so expect something here in August :/
